Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms apply when a Shopify merchant installs, accesses, or uses InventoryQ. The merchant must have authority to act for the applicable Shopify store and comply with Shopify's terms and applicable law.

The service

InventoryQ synchronizes permitted Shopify store data to provide inventory analytics, alerts, reorder recommendations, and reports. Calculations depend on the availability, quality, and history of store data and merchant-configured settings.

Merchant responsibilities

• Maintain authorized access to the connected Shopify store.
• Review settings, thresholds, reports, and recommendations.
• Independently verify purchasing, inventory, and financial decisions.
• Use the service lawfully and avoid disrupting or abusing it.
• Keep merchant contact and billing information current in Shopify.

Subscriptions and billing

Available plans, charges, billing intervals, and trial terms are shown in Shopify before approval. Paid subscriptions are created and managed through Shopify Billing. Merchants can change or cancel plans from the app's Billing page. Shopify's billing records control if they conflict with a local display.

Acceptable use

Merchants must not attempt unauthorized access, bypass plan controls, reverse engineer protected portions of the service, upload malicious code, interfere with other stores, or use InventoryQ to violate law or third-party rights.

Availability and changes

The service can be modified to improve reliability, security, or functionality. Temporary interruptions can occur because of maintenance, provider outages, Shopify API availability, or events outside reasonable control.

Intellectual property

InventoryQ and its software, interface, and brand remain the property of the service operator and its licensors. Merchants retain ownership of their store data and grant the limited rights needed to provide and secure the service.

Disclaimer

Inventory recommendations are operational estimates, not accounting, financial, or legal advice. The service is provided on an "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. Merchants remain responsible for inventory and purchasing decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.

Termination

Merchants can stop using InventoryQ by cancelling a paid plan and uninstalling the app. Access can be suspended or terminated for security risk, nonpayment, abuse, or material breach of these terms. Provisions that logically survive termination remain effective.

Changes to these terms

Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
